AMCCO represents manufacturers of safety monitoring systems for
marine and industrial applications from around the world.
In the marine industry we are established as a company providing
safety related products and systems, as well as related services
to the government and private ship operators alike. We offer
equipment either already fully compliant with the existing marine
legislation or addressing the emerging legislative safety concerns.
In fact, we evaluate marine legislation to ensure that our products
and services continue to meet the changing requirements of the
market place.
The company was incorporated in May of 1981 as Autronica Marine
USA, Inc. In twenty years we progressed from the initial product
sales and service representation of Autronica of Norway into
being a representative of a highly diversified group of companies
specializing in the development of sensors for marine applications.
These sensors were vital elements in vessel alarm and equipment
monitoring systems, which evolved into today’s ship automation
systems. Twenty years later, in July of 2001, following expansion
into power generating industry market, we changed our name to
Automatic Measurement and Control Corporation (AMCCO).
Today AMCCO represents a number of domestic and international
manufacturers of measuring and control equipment serving marine,
process and power generating industries.
AMCCO is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MAKKE LLC which owns several
companies specializing in the instrumentation field. Those include
the Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc. (www.pyrometer.com), a developer and manufacturer
of temperature measuring instruments and American Teratec, Inc.
the AMCCO sister company devoted to marine industry. American Teratec, Inc. is a member of the Terasaki Global Service Network
dedicated solely to service and support of the products of Terasaki
Electric Co., Ltd. of Japan.
